WHY ARE WE HERE ON EARTH (OUR PURPOSE) PART 1

God's purpose for humanity on earth can be summarized in several ways.

I will deal with at least 2  of  many purposes we are here on earth in Part 1 of this series.

Reflecting God's Image:

Genesis 1:27: "So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them."This means that humans are endowed with qualities such as  to be creative, to be moral, to be rational, and to be spiritual. These reflect aspects of God's nature. As image-bearers of God, we  are called to embody His character and values in their lives  Therefore, when a person accepts Christ in his or her life, as recipients of the Holy Spirit's anointing,  that person is now empowered to reflect God's image more fully in their lives. He or she will exhibit qualities such as love, compassion, wisdom, and holiness, which are cultivated through the transformative work of the Holy Spirit within them.


Fellowship with God:
1 John 1:3: "We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have fellowship with us. And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ." This verse emphasizes the communal aspect of fellowship with God, inviting us to join in the shared experience of intimacy with the Father and the Son. God created us as humans to have an intimate, and a deep and meaningful relationship with Him. This relationship involves communication ( talking to God on a one and one basis), worship (giving praise to God), and intimacy with the Creator. Through this fellowship, you will experience God's love, guidance, and presence in their lives.As you cultivate a deep and intimate relationship with God, facilitated by the anointing of the Holy Spirit, it will enable you to walk in the light of His wisdom, love, and grace. Embrace this divine connection, for in it lies the source of strength, peace, and fulfillment beyond measure.

Prayer:  Dear Father, help us God to remember how you created us in your own image and the purpose you created us was and is  to have sweet fellowship with you.  We thank you for loving us in Jesus' name. Amen
